Songs for the Soul

Songs for the Soul
February 25
7:00 PM to 8:45 PM

Plan to join us on Wednesday, February 25th, at 7 p.m. as we present our Black History Month Choral Concert, “Songs for the Soul.” We will be hosting the I.C. Norcom High School Choir and the Greatest HBCU choir in the land, The Norfolk State University Concert Choir. In these challenging times, now more than ever, we have a responsibility to support our young people in the performing arts. Many of our very own Grovinians have graduated from NSU, so let’s show our support and encourage these young people as they render works from some of our great African American composers. And, if you are an upcoming high school junior or senior interested in being part of the Norfolk State Choir, on-site auditions will be held that evening, immediately following their performance. See you there!

Giving

Your generosity is positively changing lives in our church, community, and around the world. Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 that whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will reap generously. Thank you for continuing to help others see the generous nature of the Body of Christ through your giving.
